Pilot Career Development Day with Capt. David Hodges
A lot of pilots finish their licenses wondering the same thing after graduation: what now?

Flying school teaches you how to fly. The airline environment is a different conversation entirely. The pace is different, the expectations are different, and for many aspiring pilots, that first step toward airline readiness can feel unclear.
That’s exactly why APOP exists.
Starting this June 29, Sputnik Aviation opens another batch of the Airline Pilot Opportunity Program, designed for aspiring airline pilots who want better exposure to the kind of mindset, discipline, communication, and professionalism airlines look for today.
The program focuses on more than just simulator time. It’s about understanding how airline environments operate, how crews work together, how decisions are made under pressure, and how future pilots carry themselves long before they ever step into an airline cockpit.
Some pilots join APOP already preparing for applications. Others simply want clarity on where they stand and what they still need to improve. Either way, the goal stays the same — helping participants become more prepared for the realities of airline operations.
If you’ve been asking yourself whether you’re truly ready for the next step, this might be the right time to sit down and have that conversation.
Limited slots are available for the June 29 batch.
