Summer Camp 2026: Where Young Explorers Take Their First Flight

Summer Camp 2026: From Individuals to a Crew
The Cebu Pacific Air Employees Cooperative recently dropped by the Sputnik Aviation facility for a visit that turned into a mix of discussions, walkthroughs, and a bit of hands-on experience inside the simulator.

The group was welcomed by Giann and Rome, along with the Simulator Technician team. Instead of going straight into a formal presentation, the visit flowed more like a guided conversation. They were walked through the different areas of the facility, how things are set up, and how each part connects to the overall experience. Questions came up naturally along the way — from operations, to how guests usually respond when they try the simulator for the first time.
At some point, the group got to try the simulator themselves. That’s where things shifted a bit. You could see the reactions change once they were inside the cockpit. One of the officers even mentioned that his past experience with simulators was tied to a more serious, high-pressure environment. This time felt different. Lighter. More relaxed. He ended up enjoying it more than expected.

There was also curiosity about what happens after the experience. How people react. Whether it sparks something bigger. Those kinds of questions stayed part of the conversation even after stepping out of the simulator.

Looking back, it wasn’t just a facility visit. It felt more like an exchange — ideas, observations, and a shared interest in how experiences like these can play a role in shaping future aviation professionals.
